The glorious Battersea Arts Centre may still be smarting from a roof fire a few months ago, but it’s still one of London’s true cultural gems – and for comedy fans, the perfect opportunity to visit has arisen.

Between 20 July and 1 August, BAC will be hosting a season of fabulous comics previewing their Edinburgh Fringe shows. There’s plenty of quality in the line-up, include Liam Williams (above), former Perrier Award winner Jenny Eclair, sketch smart alecs The Pin, last year’s Best Newcomer winner Alex Edelman, alternative comedy hero Simon Munnery, one of the UK’s finest stand-ups Kerry Godliman, and plenty more good stuff to boot. Here’s the line-up in full.

And London is Funny has a pair of tickets to give away to a night at BAC! (You’ll get a pair of tickets to either one or two shows, depending on how many shows are on your chosen night). All you have to do to throw your hat in the ring is answer the following question:

Liam Williams also performs in a sketch group called …
a) Sheeps
b) Marillion
c) Razorlight

Email your answer to competition@londonisfunny.com, including your phone number so you can be contacted (no contact details will be passed on to third parties). The deadline is 23.59 on Wednesday July 22.
