Frankie Boyle to perform tiny wee London gigs for charity

Frankie Boyle comedianBe-bearded pantomime villain of the comedy world, Frankie Boyle, is returning to the live stage this month, with four shows at the Hen and Chickens theatre pub in Islington.

The shows are billed as “work-in-progress”, suggesting a new tour for the Scot, whose last show was 2012’s The Last Days of Sodom.

The Islington shows are on September 10, 17, 18 and 19, with tickets on sale at 11am on the day before each show. Only about 50 tickets are on sale, and all proceeds go to the Reprieve charity, which helps people on death row and in Guantanamo Bay.
